You call us

We explain the cost
We'll tell you the bail amount, what the premium will be under California law, and whether a payment plan or collateral applies — before you commit to anything.

You (and often a cosigner) sign an agreement
Whoever signs — the indemnitor — is agreeing to make sure the defendant shows up to every court date and is financially responsible for the bond. We explain this plainly before anyone signs.
What we need: a willing indemnitor and, if applicable, collateral.

We post the bond
We handle the paperwork directly with the jail or court.
What we need: nothing more from you — we take it from here.

Release happens
Timing depends entirely on the facility, how busy it is, and processing time — we'll give you an honest estimate and keep you updated rather than promise a specific number of hours.

The cosigner's role
What is an indemnitor / cosigner?
An indemnitor (also called a cosigner) is the person who signs the bail agreement and takes responsibility for making sure the defendant shows up to every required court date. A cosigner can be a family member, friend, or anyone willing to take on that responsibility — and we'll explain exactly what it means before anyone signs.
If the defendant misses a court date, the bond can be forfeited and a warrant may be issued. As the indemnitor, you'd be financially responsible for the full bail amount. This is exactly why we walk every cosigner through their responsibilities clearly, in plain language, up front.
Collateral — like property or other assets — may be required for larger bail amounts. If it is, we'll tell you plainly, explain what it means, and answer every question before anything is signed.
